About the role
- Support Product Managers and Product Owners in managing cross-functional development scope across Scrum teams
- Assist in the development of product vision, goals, themes, and features, contributing to roadmaps and near-term planning
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Help translate product requirements into well-defined backlog items and user stories that reflect customer needs and business value
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to clarify requirements and address implementation questions
- Review QA test plans and results to ensure alignment with acceptance criteria
- Review product documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in communicating release contents and expected product behavior to internal stakeholders and, when appropriate, external customers
- Coordinate with other teams and departments to support visibility and alignment across products
- Help communicate product goals and priorities to technical teams
- Support prioritization decisions by considering value delivered relative to effort and scope
- Contribute to regular project status updates and reporting under the guidance of senior team members
- Help identify risks or impediments to delivery and escalate issues as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2–4 or more years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role
- Solid understanding of Agile values and Scrum methodology, with hands-on experience working on Agile teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including product, engineering, QA, and other stakeholders
- Comfortable managing multiple work items and shifting priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a focus on delivering value
- Practical experience with Agile/Scrum practices such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with business analysis, including documenting requirements, user stories, or use cases
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
