About the role

  • Build and lead a team
  • Implement the global Vertical Integration Strategy for Lithium and Manganese
  • Convert and refine for PowerCo demand to ensure material availability, cost targets, and ESG standards
  • Implement commodity and procurement strategies for new products and materials, requiring solutions in mining, raw materials, conversion, refining, and specialty chemicals
  • Build and develop an organization with diverse skills, including raw material experts, mining engineers, analysts, and specialty chemicals engineers

Requirements

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in mining, metallurgy, chemistry, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of lithium and manganese procurement, including market analysis, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations
  • Experience building and leading a team of professionals, including raw material experts and mining engineers, to manage complex projects
  • Fluent English for negotiations
  • Basic knowledge of German is desirable
  • Additional foreign languages are desirable
  • Professional experience in the chemical or mining industry
