About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As the Paid Advertising Strategist, you are responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of campaigns within your book of business.
  • You are oriented towards the clients’ business success, tying your efforts to the greater business goals.
  • You are self-started and autonomously own your responsibilities.
  • You work hand-in-hand with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of your service within the broader media mix.
  • You are responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with the support of a Specialist.
  • As the Strategist, you are excellent at providing insights and forward-thinking strategy to clients on an ongoing basis, and have a strong understanding of your service’s strategy and the levers to pull to drive performance.
  • Full ownership and execution of performance marketing via paid social & paid media native platforms.
  • Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Youtube Ads, Bing Ads.
  • Effectively executing builds and production A-Z with redundancy across channels; facilitating production with Specialists on teams where applicable.
  • Lead execution of optimizations with regards to performance improvements relative to goals.
  • Manage all client budgets and/or advise on budget changes based on your expertise.
  • Proactive internal communication with team on performance, strategy, recommendations, deliverables, and action items; facilitating tactical needs with Specialist where applicable.
  • Weekly client progress recaps, outlining performance insights and future recommendations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience. 1-2 years in agency setting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Direct Response marketing; specifically in E-Commerce, Lead Gen or B2B
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Meta Ads for direct response campaigns
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing
  • Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, and ad copy development
  • Significant campaign management experience in one or more of the following additional campaign types: Performance Max, Standard Shopping, YouTube Ads, Display Advertising, Local campaigns & Bing Ads
  • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’s place in the funnel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly and independently
  • Interested in a long-lasting relationship with a growing company.
