Paid Advertising Strategist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As the Paid Advertising Strategist, you are responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of campaigns within your book of business.
- You are oriented towards the clients’ business success, tying your efforts to the greater business goals.
- You are self-started and autonomously own your responsibilities.
- You work hand-in-hand with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of your service within the broader media mix.
- You are responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with the support of a Specialist.
- You are excellent at providing insights and forward-thinking strategy to clients on an ongoing basis, and have a strong understanding of your service’s strategy and the levers to pull to drive performance.
- Manage all client budgets and/or advise on budget changes based on your expertise.
- Weekly client progress recaps, outlining performance insights and future recommendations.
- Ability to leverage data to tell a story and articulate results to clients and key stakeholders with clear next steps.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience. 1-2 years in agency setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Direct Response marketing; specifically in E-Commerce, Lead Gen or B2B
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Meta Ads for direct response campaigns
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing
- Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, and ad copy development
- Significant campaign management experience in one or more of the following additional campaign types: Performance Max, Standard Shopping, YouTube Ads, Display Advertising, Local campaigns & Bing Ads
- Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’s place in the funnel.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level is required for this role.
