About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes and plugins
Translate visual designs into functional, responsive, cross-browser experiences using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP
Integrate external APIs into new and existing websites
Test and debug websites to ensure performance, security, and accessibility standards are met
Implement SEO best practices at the technical level to support organic performance
Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of web development experience with a strong focus on WordPress (custom theme and plugin development)
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP
Solid grasp of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility
Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
Familiarity with server administration and hosting environments
Experience with healthcare websites or HIPAA encryption standards is a plus
Familiarity with Webflow, Drupal, React, Angular, Twig, or Node is a plus
Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
Other applicable or related duties as assigned.
