About the role
- Design and implement microservices in Go, utilizing SQL and NoSQL datastores within an AWS environment
- Mentor more junior engineers on the design patterns and architecture of the new platform
- Contribute code in the product lane where necessary
- Improve and add new features to Postscript’s message orchestration platform (Flow Builder)
- Participate in modern SDLC including Agile methodologies
- Help migrate python codebase into Go microservices to elevate the platform
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years professional software development experience, at least 5+ years of which is in Go
- Experience leading projects and delivering end to end on a backend solution successfully
- AWS experience a plus
- Experience with NoSQL databases a plus
- Experience with Python, React (Typescript) a plus
- Experience working in fast-paced development environments
- Experience working in low latency, high throughput applications
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Willingness to learn new technologies and a flexible mindset
