About the role

  • Assist in maintaining PSI's internal research repository and evidence resources
  • Translate scientific findings into clear, accessible language for healthcare professionals, policymakers, donors, volunteers, and families
  • Draft research-informed summaries, talking points, FAQs, fact sheets, and evidence briefs
  • Support research-informed content for newsletters, social media, educational programs, presentations, and public-facing materials
  • Attend online staff and board meetings by request
  • Report to the Director of Research & Impact
  • Submit monthly invoices to the Director of Research & Impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to conduct rapid and comprehensive literature reviews on perinatal mental health and related topics in accordance with the Research & Citation Policy
  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and summarize peer-reviewed research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and clinical guidelines
  • Ability to develop evidence summaries and research briefs
  • Ability to maintain organized records of literature searches, citations, and source materials
  • Ability to identify accurate, up-to-date statistics and verify research findings, prevalence estimates, and commonly cited statistics
  • Ability to translate scientific findings into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences
  • Ability to draft research-informed summaries, talking points, FAQs, fact sheets, and evidence briefs
  • Ability to support research-informed content for newsletters, social media, educational programs, presentations, and public-facing materials
  • Flexible availability averaging 10–15 hours per week, not exceeding 20 hours per week unless agreed
  • Ability to work independently and use own equipment and facility
