About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the PSI Alliance Director and PSI & Alliance teams in achieving the Alliance's strategic mission and goals.
Collaborate with internal and external organizations and community stakeholders to strengthen relationships with BIPOC-serving organizations.
Identify, cultivate, and maintain partnerships with organizations aligned with maternal mental health, reproductive justice, infant health, advocacy, and health equity initiatives.
Develop collaborative opportunities that support education, advocacy, leadership development, and community-based programming to support BIPOC communities.
Coordinate outreach efforts to increase awareness of PSI & Alliance programs, training, membership opportunities, and events.
Facilitate relationship-building opportunities across local, national, and global communities.
Gather feedback from community stakeholders to inform strategic direction and program improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Communications, Nonprofit Leadership, Community Development, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership development, nonprofit leadership, maternal health, or related fields.
Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, reproductive justice, maternal and infant health equity, and culturally responsive practices.
Strong understanding of perinatal mental health and challenges impacting BIPOC communities preferred.
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and facilitation skills.
Experience working collaboratively across diverse communities and sectors.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously.
Experience with program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic outreach.
Proficiency with virtual communication platforms and basic project management systems
