About the role
- Build and own products that turn raw data into real decisions, not only dashboards.
- Talk to users who live in analytics, understanding what actually moves the needle.
- Ship features that answer questions, not just track metrics.
- Test MVPs in production with real users, iterate on their feedback, and own the pricing.
- Jump into support as a Support Hero, because the best features come from real pain points.
- Design and ship the frontend, write HogQL queries, and write high scale/high availability services in Rust, depending on the team.
Requirements
- You're a builder. PostHog is full of people who just love building stuff, people who would still be building software even if there wasn't a paycheck at the end.
- You bring full stack-experience with relevant technologies. This is our stack, but we hire lots of people whose main experience is with a different stack.
- You think like a product engineer! You care more about building the best product for the users and helping your team ship than focussing on abstract goals.
