About the role

Help increase the number of successful products in the world by telling PostHog's story
PostHog: shipping product analytics and an operating system for product teams (open-source roots)
Writing engaging newsletters for the "Product for Engineers" audience (~100k subscribers)
Owning social content: repackaging long-form content into short, scroll-stopping posts; manage Twitter/X and LinkedIn
Pitching and scripting videos to support product launches and internal production
Constantly finding ways to share what PostHog is building, why, and how to the world

A developer who loves writing: understands the mindset and interests of developers
A terminally online social poster: active poster, ideally with a modest following
A sense of humor: able to tune into and add to company tone of voice
A startup native: familiar with developers and startup founders, early-stage experience
Great writing and editing skills: comfortable with long-form newsletters and funny social posts
Trends watcher: knows what's happening online in the tech world
Talk like a developer, or (better) be one: able to translate technical work into developer language
Nice to have: Able to travel
Nice to have: Video skills (comfortable on camera or editing short videos)
Nice to have: Actually can code (build apps or sites to get developers' attention)
