Technical Support Engineer
Postal Packaging LimitedTechnical Support Engineer providing technical support for Veezu's IT infrastructure across the UK. Involves onsite and remote support with travel requirements and engaging in various projects.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver first class onsite and remote technical support to internal and external stakeholders
- Engage in call logging, detailed analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents and service requests
- Support various projects including acquisitions, site migrations, and upgrades
- Travel to various Veezu locations across the UK as needed
- Manage technology assets ensuring correct administration of records and storage of assets
- Support company acquisitions or projects by assisting with the integration and migration of network services
- Provide on-call & out-of-hours support as necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable expertise in delivering technical support
- A foundational grasp of ISO27001 and ITIL principles
- Proficient in various IT paradigms and technologies, including PCs, Printers, Networking, Microsoft suites, Active Directory, and security solutions
- Comprehensive expertise in Microsoft-based operating systems, especially Windows 10/11
- Hands-on experience with Google email/Office 365
- Demonstrated knowledge in administering User & Security Groups within Active Directory
- Proven track record in steering major incidents to resolution
- Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Eloquence in both written and spoken communication
- Result-oriented approach with intrinsic motivation and planning
- Collaborative spirit and proactive adaptability
