About the role
- Responsible for accurate financial accounting for the Logistics Services division, the largest postal area
- Accounting processing and recording of financial transactions
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
- VAT returns and intercompany reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly IFRS-based reports for the group accounting team
- Advising finance and Logistics Services business partners
- Liaising with external auditors and supporting audits and reviews
- Taking on special assignments from the Head of Accounting Logistics Services
Requirements
- Advanced professional training with a focus on finance, accounting, or auditing
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting under Swiss and international accounting standards (OR and IFRS)
- Experience in both group and SME structures
- Proficient in Excel and SAP FI (ideally S/4HANA)
- Excellent German language skills and good spoken proficiency in another national language and in English
