About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for securing new business with municipal and state governments
  • Present the Education System and product portfolio to secretaries, mayors and educators
  • Ensure consultative selling with all prospective clients
  • Strategically and commercially manage the assigned region
  • Create and participate in educational and commercial events when needed
  • Liaise with federal, state and municipal associations
  • Report activities and results to immediate manager
  • Participate in public tenders and processes related to Law No. 14.133/21
  • Keep client records up to date
  • Regular travel is a core part of the role to perform client visits
  • Plan the yearly work schedule and map out travel routes
  • Account for expenses in accordance with company policy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (completed)
  • Reside in Belo Horizonte or surrounding region
  • Previous experience in sales to the public sector
  • Knowledge of public procurement and bidding procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct consultative and strategic negotiations
  • Availability for frequent travel
  • Valid category B driver’s license (active)
  • Organized and autonomous with route, visit and report planning
  • Familiarity with digital tools (Microsoft Office suite)
