About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform accounting routines for monthly closings
- Post accounting entries and monitor integrations between systems and the accounting department
- Perform account reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Support the control and calculation of Fixed Assets and Intangibles
- Prepare financial statements and the related explanatory notes
- Respond to internal and external audit requests
- Monitor changes in accounting pronouncements (CPCs) and international standards (IFRS)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP or other)
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:48, in a hybrid format, based in the Mercês neighborhood of Curitiba-PR, Brazil
- Previous experience in accounting is a plus
- Knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards and pronouncements (CPCs) and IFRS
- Familiarity with ancillary statutory filings and month-end closing routines
- Knowledge of VBA for spreadsheet automation and Power BI for building dashboards and data analysis
