About the role

  • Record, control and analyze tax transactions in the SAP system, ensuring correct configuration and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Critically review tax configurations, identifying improvement opportunities and preventing inconsistencies.
  • Calculate taxes and fees (federal, state and municipal), analyzing tax bases, deadlines and payment methods.
  • Monitor and interpret tax legislation, assessing impacts and proposing adjustments to internal processes.
  • Perform accounting classification of tax documentation in accordance with the company’s chart of accounts.
  • Prepare, analyze and provide management and tax reports to support decision-making.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required information and documentation.
  • Ensure activities are performed in accordance with internal procedures and leadership guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of tax legislation (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, ISS, among others).
  • Experience in tax calculation and handling of tax filings and ancillary obligations.
  • Experience with tax bookkeeping and accounting routines.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven, consolidated experience in the tax area at medium or large companies.
