About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a portfolio of consulting engagements from discovery through implementation
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for CARE consulting engagements
  • Build enduring relationships with executive leaders and boards
  • Manage engagements to scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations
  • Achieve annual consulting revenue goals through relationship management and business development
  • Lead organizational assessments and organizational design engagements
  • Advise executive teams on organizational effectiveness, HR strategy, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance
  • Synthesize interviews, focus groups, workforce metrics, engagement surveys, organizational structures, and business data to identify root causes
  • Design evidence-based interventions and partner with clients through implementation
  • Facilitate executive retreats, strategic planning sessions, leadership meetings, and leadership development experiences
  • Support organizations through restructuring, growth, succession, and transformation
  • Build alignment across diverse stakeholders
  • Strengthen consulting methodologies, playbooks, tools, and implementation resources
  • Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, networking, and business development
  • Collaborate across CARE, PositivelyHR, Executive Search, Compensation, Technology, Payroll, and Operations
  • Produce analyses, presentations, recommendations, and client deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational effectiveness, organizational development, HR strategy, or management consulting
  • Experience advising nonprofit executive teams and boards
  • Experience leading multiple sophisticated consulting engagements simultaneously
  • Ability to manage scope, budget, timeline, and quality while delivering an exceptional client experience
  • Strong facilitation, executive communication, analytical, project management, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to diagnose systemic issues using qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience growing client relationships and contributing to business development in consulting or professional services
  • Must be located in the United States
  • Must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours
  • Familiarity with Positive Psychology, Positive Organizational Scholarship, or other evidence-based approaches is a plus
