About the role
- Own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy and P&L for a $6M–$12M+ annual ad budget
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of 6+ media buyers and analysts
- Partner with CEO/CMO to define growth goals, performance benchmarks, and diversification strategies
- Oversee marketing stack upgrades (Snowflake, CDPs, advanced attribution)
- Maximize ROAS and efficiency across all channels, maintaining Meta excellence while scaling alternatives
- Lead channel diversification — testing and scaling TikTok, Google Ads, and other emerging platforms
- Implement advanced measurement, attribution, and incrementality testing
- Continuously improve conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value (LTV)
- Develop repeatable frameworks for creative testing, audience segmentation, and budget allocation
- Launch innovative campaign formats, funnels, and channels to unlock new growth
- Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Product, and Analytics teams to deliver cohesive campaigns
Requirements
- 7+ years in performance marketing, with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Meta advertising
- Proven success managing $3M+ annual media budgets
- Experience scaling consumer brands (ideally entertainment, events, or experiential sectors)
- Strong analytical skills, including attribution modeling and incrementality testing
- Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads, Google Ads, and other paid platforms
- Proven track record of channel diversification and reducing platform dependency
- Experience with programmatic, connected TV, or advanced digital channels (preferred)
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for senior leadership
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and collaborative leadership style
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- CRO (conversion rate optimization) experience (nice to have)
- International marketing experience (nice to have)
- Ticketing or event marketing background (nice to have)
- Familiarity with advanced martech stacks (Snowflake, CDPs, data enrichment, AI tools) (nice to have)
