About the role
- Assist with payroll reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with internal teams and payroll providers
- Partner with our PEO (iSolved/Insperity) to support onboarding, employee data updates, benefits enrollments, and compliance requirements
- Maintain and update employee and contractor records, ensuring compliance with US labor laws and company policies
- Support day-to-day HR administration, including documentation, contract preparation, and compliance tracking
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and policies, escalating complex issues to the International HR Generalist or PEO as needed
- Assist Regional Managers in the recruitment process and manage onboarding workflows including I-9 verifications and E-Verify submissions
- Coordinate mandatory employment training for new venue representatives (harassment/discrimination, workplace violence)
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and support audits or data requests
- Assist in documenting HR workflows (onboarding checklists, training materials, SOPs) and recommend process improvements
Requirements
- 2+ years of HR administration or recruitment experience
- Familiarity with US labor laws, payroll processes, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, and contractor management
- Experience working with PEOs (preferably iSolved/Insperity) a strong advantage
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in virtual settings
- Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems, Google Workspace, and Zoom
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be US-based; successful applicant will be hired into Poseidon's US-based partner company
