• Prepare and review calculations for IRPJ and CSLL (real profit regime), current and deferred;
• Review calculation and composition of deferred taxes, supporting assumptions and technical documentation;
• Prepare and review ECF, ECD and related tax filings and ancillary obligations for direct taxes;
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close for direct taxes;
• Analyze tax impacts of corporate, financial and commercial transactions;
• Support preparation of explanatory notes, calculation workpapers and financial disclosures related to the tax area;
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impacts for the company;
• Assist with external audit, internal audit and tax inspections;
• Support management of tax contingencies, provisions and fiscal risks;
• Develop and strengthen internal controls and processes related to the tax function;
• Participate in automation, continuous improvement and tax governance projects;
• Liaise with external consultants, law firms and other corporate areas;
• Support tax analyses involving CPCs/IFRS and accounting tax effects;
• Prepare technical analyses, executive presentations and support materials for management;
• Analyze impacts on the allocation of taxable profits among Group companies (BRxBR and BRxUSA);
• Conduct studies for monetization of Tax Losses and the negative base of Social Contribution (CSLL);
• Apply and monitor transfer pricing policy.
