Account Manager

• Build deep, long-term relationships with founders, ops leads, and senior stakeholders.
• Understand each merchant’s goals, challenges, and growth plans—and tie Portless solutions directly to their strategy.
• Work closely with Sales on expansion, with Operations on execution, and with Product/Engineering to influence roadmap through customer feedback.
• Be the internal advocate for your merchants. Ensure that the plans we’re building start and end with the success of our customers in mind.
• Clearly articulate and quantify ROI: faster delivery, cost savings, better customer experience.
• Identify and execute upsell/cross-sell opportunities that genuinely make sense for the merchant.

Product Manager

• Own the end-to-end merchant experience from onboarding to ongoing operations management
• Work hands-on with merchants, operations teams, and engineering to design and optimize tools and workflows
• Design and optimize order routing algorithms, order processing workflows, and exception handling systems
• Build inventory management tools including demand forecasting, reorder point optimization, and multi-location allocation
• Create inbound workflows from purchase order creation to inventory receipt, including quality control and reconciliation
• Develop purchase order management covering supplier communication, production tracking, shipping coordination, and customs workflows
• Partner with finance to create merchant financing products (inventory financing, cash flow optimization, payment terms)
• Build self-service merchant onboarding tools and operational dashboards for analytics and reporting

Product Designer

• Design Merchant-Centric Experiences: Create intuitive interfaces for complex operational workflows including order management, inventory tracking, purchase orders, and supplier communication tools
• Craft Data-Rich Dashboards: Design compelling analytics and reporting interfaces that help merchants understand inventory performance, order trends, and operational metrics at a glance
• Optimize Onboarding Flows: Design seamless self-service onboarding experiences that guide new merchants through platform setup, integration, and initial inventory management
• Build Inventory Management Interfaces: Create user-friendly tools for demand forecasting, reorder point management, and multi-location inventory allocation across China-based network
• Design Financial Product Experiences: Craft interfaces for merchant financing tools, cash flow management, and payment workflows
• Conduct User Research: Partner with merchants to understand operational pain points, conduct usability testing, and gather feedback
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Product Managers and engineers to translate requirements into user flows and ensure design feasibility
• Create Design Systems: Establish and maintain design patterns, component libraries, and style guides ensuring consistency across merchant-facing platform

• - Define and execute Portless’s global partnership roadmap across logistics providers, technology platforms, eCommerce ecosystems, and strategic brand partners.
• - Source, evaluate, and negotiate high-value strategic partnerships that enhance Portless’s service capabilities and brand visibility.
• - Leverage industry experience to establish and expand relationships with carriers, 3PLs, fulfillment networks, and cross-border trade stakeholders.
• - Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to integrate partnerships into customer acquisition and retention strategies.
• - Build partnerships that drive measurable pipeline and top-line growth, while also creating operational efficiencies.
• - Stay ahead of logistics trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to position Portless as a category leader.
• - Over time, build and mentor a partnerships team to scale with Portless’s growth trajectory.
