Marketing Manager
Portland WebworksMarketing Manager overseeing B2B marketing strategies and event planning for Webworks, focusing on digital visibility and lead generation. Collaborate closely with sales and coordinate marketing campaigns.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Development of a comprehensive marketing strategy for Webworks – from positioning to channel strategy
- Creation of an inbound marketing funnel in close collaboration with sales
- Analysis of relevant marketing KPIs and derivation of concrete recommendations for action
- Regular reporting on marketing performance in coordination with sales
- Research, planning and coordination of all Webworks trade show appearances – from registration to follow-up
- Planning and coordination of our expert presentations and speaker appearances at industry events
- Organization and execution of our own digital webinars (currently via Livestorm & HubSpot; tool migration planned for 2027)
- Planning and alignment of trade show booth, presentation materials and sales collateral with executive management
- Internal coordination for timely preparation of presentation slides with subject teams via Asana
- Maintenance and development of the annual events plan – operating the 2026 plan while taking full ownership from 2027 including budget planning
- Pre-qualification of event leads (trade show visitors, webinar attendees) and structured handover to sales in Pipedrive
- Planning and production of whitepapers, case studies and other sales materials
- Coordination of the redesign of the Webworks website
- Maintenance and editorial management of the Webworks newsletter and LinkedIn accounts, including content planning
- Establishment and management of agency partnerships focused on lead generation (depending on capacity)
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally with a focus on event marketing, content, inbound or demand generation
- Agency experience is mandatory – you understand the agency business model, ideally from a performance or digital marketing agency
- You think strategically and can develop a holistic marketing strategy – and implement it independently
- You work in a structured way and keep an overview even with concurrent projects
- You have experience with tools such as Asana, HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Pipedrive – or comparable solutions
- Fluent German and English are required
- Knowledge of relevant trade shows and events in Switzerland (e.g. in e‑commerce or digital marketing) is a clear plus
