About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own documentation, reporting, and root-cause analysis of prediction issues end to end
- Analyze ingested and system-generated data for anomalies and gaps, using various data sources to plug gaps
- Surface patterns behind issues, propose QA process-flow changes and/or automation, and own execution
- Automate performance and accuracy reviews, report generation, and data visualization using Python and SQL
- Support Engineering and Data Science with system-level data fixes and improvements to data and features
- Support Customer Operations and Marketing with performance, accuracy, and real-time-event insights
- Maintain internal and customer dashboards covering prediction accuracy, timeliness, coverage, and explainability
- Report directly to the Analytics Manager and collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3+ years in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role, preferably in a product-based, lean startup environment
- Exceptional proficiency in Python and SQL, producing reusable and highly scalable code
- Ability to identify system anomalies and turn messy data into clear visualizations
- First-principles thinking, including articulating constraints, alternatives, trade-offs, and decisions
- Curiosity and ability to investigate root causes beyond stated instructions
- Experience using and validating AI tools such as Claude and Copilot for QA, automation, and analysis
- Empathy and urgency in responding to customer needs and delivering on time
- Ability to communicate nuanced ideas clearly in remote brainstorming and writing
- Experience working in diverse, dynamic, cross-cultural teams with an ownership mindset, efficiency, and data-driven approach
- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms is good to have
