About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic program planning for technical insurance initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps aligned with business strategy and insurance product goals
- Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, design, underwriting, claims, and support teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables
- Apply strong technical judgment to guide architecture discussions, technical decision‑making, and complex problem‑solving
- Identify program risks and dependencies early and implement mitigation and corrective action plans
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, updates, escalations, and change management
- Drive transparency and accountability across all workstreams through regular reporting and leadership updates
- Partner with engineering leaders to scope work, define dependencies, and manage resource allocation
- Ensure program deliverables meet business, technical, regulatory, and compliance standards
- Oversee testing, validation, documentation, and release readiness activities
- Understand system architecture and data flows to anticipate and resolve integration challenges
- Apply home insurance domain knowledge, including policy administration systems and regulatory requirements, to guide program decisions
- Monitor KPIs and program metrics, conduct post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, including at least 4 years in the insurance domain
- Strong understanding of home insurance systems, workflows, and regulatory considerations
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and delivering complex technical programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical and business information for diverse audiences
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to manage ambiguity
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Proven experience working with US based business teams
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
- Working Hours: 8 Hours (Excluding breaks) 4 Core US Hours Overlap (7:30pm–11:30pm IST) 4 flexible hours (IST)
- Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
