About the role
- Lead psychiatric services across all clinics, serving as a clinical resource and mentor.
- Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients receiving care.
- Prescribe and monitor MAT medications in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and peer support teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
- Monitor provider performance and patient outcomes, leading quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and development opportunities for providers.
Requirements
- MD or DO with active, unrestricted license in Colorado/NM or advanced practice degree (APRN, PA, or equivalent) with active, unrestricted license
- DEA registration required
- Board certification in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred
- 7+ years of clinical experience in psychiatry or addiction medicine
- Leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, mentorship, and organizational skills
- Experience in in-person and virtual care; interventional psychiatry preferred
