About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments
  • Offering individualised interventions and engagement to our young people based on clinical assessment and formulation
  • Providing consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Be a qualified Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC
  • Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to assess, formulate and support the delivery of therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs
  • Have experience of supporting the team around a child or young person to provide clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences
  • Be a confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer
  • Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative
  • Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people
