Business Development Representative
PomeloBusiness Development Representative responsible for prospecting and securing partnerships for staffing agency. Building relationships with potential clients and generating new sales opportunities.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, research, and reach out to potential customers, engaging with prospects to understand their needs and qualify them as potential customers
- Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies to connect with key decision-makers
- Maintain and update CRM records with lead activity, interactions, and progress
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts and optimize lead conversion
- Conduct follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points to tailor sales messaging effectively
- Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3+ years in sales or business development (preferably for a staffing or recruiting agency)
- Professional written and verbal fluency in English
- Outstanding sales knowledge, interpersonal problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Permanent access to a computer with reliable and high-speed Internet connection
- Previous experience working the overnight/graveyard shift
