About the role

Requirements

  • Relevant experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Professional experience in server operations on Microsoft Windows or Linux, e.g. hardening, patching, logging, backup & restore, etc.
  • Interest in DevOps, automation, Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) as well as Configuration-as-Code (CaC) using HashiCorp Terraform or OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Git, GitLab, cloud-init, Renovate, etc.
  • Experience in scripting and automation with shell scripting or coding in Bash or PowerShell; ideally also Golang (Go)
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
  • Awareness of reliability, availability and maintainability
  • Understanding of compliance and security
  • Pragmatism in implementing requirements
  • Good German language skills (at least B2 level)
