About the role

  • Lead cross-functional efforts to design, develop, and launch innovative powersports products
  • Lead engineering project execution from concept through production launch
  • Manage technical execution across engineering disciplines to meet performance, cost, and timing targets
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure robust product development
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables
  • Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation throughout the development cycle
  • Support validation and testing activities, including prototype builds and field evaluations
  • Communicate project status and technical decisions to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Polaris engineering standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in product development or project engineering, preferably in automotive or powersports
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, CAD tools, and product lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP&R, and APQP processes
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, vehicle dynamics, or powertrain systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally to manufacturing sites and test locations
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status Preferred
