About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the collection, processing, and analysis of test data
  • Contribute to developing data processing strategies, improving analysis workflows
  • Ensure high-quality data outputs across a variety of testing environments
  • Lead post-processing and analysis strategies for field-collected test data
  • Process and analyze large datasets using tools such as nCode GlyphWorks or comparable platforms
  • Develop, maintain, and automate data processing workflows and scripts
  • Support instrumentation setup, including installation, calibration, and validation of sensors
  • Instrument vehicles and components for durability and performance testing
  • Operate prototype vehicles and data acquisition systems during testing activities
  • Plan and execute data collection efforts, including coordination of field testing activities
  • Generate clear and concise technical reports documenting test procedures, results, and conclusions
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of data outputs with test objectives and quality standards
  • Continuously improve test methods, data processing efficiency, and analysis quality
  • Maintain and communicate project timelines, priorities, and progress updates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in test engineering, data analysis, or a related technical role
  • Experience with data processing tools such as nCode GlyphWorks or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation
  • Experience with data acquisition systems such as Somat eDAQ or comparable systems
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation and sensor integration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in electrical systems and data acquisition
  • Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel up to 25%, including remote testing locations
