About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects, driving fee-for-service revenue through cultivation, solutioning, proposal development, contracting, renewal, and expansion.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned accounts, ensuring partners feel supported, engaged, and set up for a strong experience.
  • Cultivate and steward strong relationships with corporate partners to deepen engagement and alignment with Points of Light’s mission.
  • Lead the development of high-quality, aesthetically pleasing proposals, concept papers, and decks for partners that clearly explain complex offerings and POL’s unique value proposition, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely submission.
  • Partner with Finance, Programs, Marketing and Communications, and Research and Evaluation teams to prepare budgets, deliverables, and metrics that meet funder requirements and ensure accountability for grant or reporting outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement an effective corporate engagement and fundraising strategy that advances Points of Light’s mission and organizational priorities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a national organization, and demonstrated success in corporate fundraising, sales, or fee-for-service
  • Experience in leading collaborative fundraising projects, including programmatic initiatives and co-creation of programmatic gift opportunities
  • Hands-on experience with one or more donor databases / CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and project management software (Asana preferred).
  • Ability to create a welcoming work environment for all
  • Up to 35% travel will be required, some international travel may be required
