Part of a team with direct access to Pointe partners and key client decision-makers
Key contributor on client engagements and project deliverables
Support development of global pharmaceutical/biotech KOL networks to conduct original research
Conduct original primary research with clinical trial sites to better understand development timelines and inform strategic decisions
Conduct secondary research and analysis of press releases, news, publications, and industry events
Build differentiated research capabilities (quantitative/qualitative methods) and deepen functional expertise in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and other therapeutic areas
Attend and support coverage of global industry conferences, earnings calls, investor conferences, and webinars
Develop relationships with key client maps and add measurable value to client relationships
Mentor and develop junior team members
Positively contribute to the dynamic, high-achieving atmosphere of the firm
Requirements
BA or BS required with a clear track record of academic excellence
Advanced degree (Masters or PhD in life sciences, biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, or related areas of study) preferred
Two to four years of relevant research, consulting, or similar experience preferred
Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medical affairs, drug development, and drug commercialization
An aptitude for networking, primary research, and secondary research
Well-honed business acumen and analytical skills
A desire to learn and demonstrated ability to master new subject areas quickly
Strong communication, technical writing, and critical-thinking skills
Strong work ethic, dedicated, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
Time management and multitasking abilities to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Advanced skill set in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
