About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with Federal Affairs leadership, trade associations and other stakeholders to advance organizational priorities
Establish expertise in emerging health policy issues by attending health policy knowledge events relative to the Enterprise
Independently track, analyze, summarize, and communicate relevant Federal legislation and regulations
Provide technical support to departments regarding current, proposed and newly promulgated Federal guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree required
Health care and/or public policy degree strongly preferred
Minimum of five years’ work experience in a position requiring independent judgment and initiative
Previous experience in a managed care setting and/or regulatory environment preferred
Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to facilitate policy discussions with stakeholders of varied levels and build consensus
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and other computer skills
