About the role
- Orchestrate the delivery of complex initiatives across Lat 61, ensuring alignment between product vision, engineering execution, and customer needs.
- Drive planning, coordination, and communication across multiple workstreams, balancing technical depth with program oversight.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of technical initiatives across Lat 61, ensuring scope, timelines, and outcomes are well defined and met.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Data and AI leaders to coordinate priorities, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Translate product roadmaps into detailed project plans, milestones, and tracking mechanisms that ensure visibility and accountability.
- Serve as the connective tissue between teams and stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and trade-offs.
- Establish best practices for program management, including sprint planning, retrospectives, risk management, and release readiness.
- Proactively identify blockers, resource gaps, and technical dependencies — and drive resolution before they impact delivery.
- Ensure that programs deliver measurable business value and align with Lat 61’s growth strategy.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role driving cross-functional delivery in software or data platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices (APIs, data pipelines, cloud-native systems) with enough technical depth to engage in trade-off discussions.
- Experience managing large, complex programs spanning multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and program management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; adept at translating complex technical work into clear plans and updates.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action and outcomes.
- Ability to balance structure and flexibility — introducing process where it adds value, while keeping teams moving fast.
