About the role
- Serve as the technical lead in support of defense sales pursuits and customer programs.
- Architect mission-aligned PNT solutions, guide system integrations, support evaluations and demonstrations, and cultivate technical champions within program offices, primes, and integrators.
- Own technical wins across defense pursuits and programs.
- Drive successful PoCs, evaluations, and prototype integrations.
- Build deep technical trust with government engineers and program managers.
- Translate mission requirements into actionable product feedback.
- Conduct technical discovery conversations with military engineers and program stakeholders.
- Deliver technical presentations, mission-aligned demos, and onsite proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
- Support integration, onboarding, and field deployment of Point One solutions within defense programs.
- Provide hands-on debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation in complex environments.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to align technical strategy with market demand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, Computer Science, or related field)
- 5+ years in a customer-facing engineering role, preferably supporting defense or federal customers
- 3+ years working in GNSS, GPS, INS, PNT filtering, RF systems, or navigation technologies
- Strong systems-level understanding of embedded systems, autonomy stacks, and real-time positioning
- Experience debugging complex hardware/software integrations
- Excellent communication skills — able to influence both technical engineers and program leadership
- Ability to travel regularly to military bases, test ranges, and integration sites
- Preferred: Experience working with DoD customers (Army, Air Force, Navy, DoD labs)
- Preferred: Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Preferred: Experience operating in GPS-denied or contested RF environments
