About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Contact Center Representative, you'll play a key role in scheduling new patients for our affiliated pain clinics and surgery centers
  • Handling inbound calls and following up with warm leads to educate them on treatment options
  • Answer inbound calls from prospective new patients and assess their needs
  • Answer general questions regarding treatment options
  • Make outbound calls to incoming leads to educate them about possible treatments
  • Register and schedule new patients; send appropriate materials prior to appointments
  • Reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments as needed
  • Provide excellent, timely customer service
  • Maintain operations by following established policies and procedures
  • Help track the effectiveness of new marketing initiatives
  • Contribute creative ideas to optimize marketing strategies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of customer interaction or customer support experience (phone or face-to-face) strongly preferred
  • Previous healthcare facility and contact center experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Service-oriented approach to resolving customer concerns
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new software and computer systems
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and office ethics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
