About the role

  • Define and drive the global BI and analytics engineering strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team of analytics engineers.
  • Act as a strategic partner to leaders across Content, Growth, Finance, and Product.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of our central data model, ensuring data integrity and a unified view of our performance.
  • Ensure our BI infrastructure is efficient, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Define standards for visualization and modeling, ensuring our data is not just accessible, but trusted and documented.

Requirements

  • Proven track record (likely 7+ years) in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering or Data Analytics, with significant experience leading and growing teams in a tech-first environment.
  • Strong understanding of and previous experience with data engineering, BI, and modern data practices.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and BI tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with GCP and dbt is a big plus, though not required.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and priorities for non-technical stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions at the executive level.
  • Curious by nature and courageous in your decision-making.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
