About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, clean, and post day-to-day journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Ensure the general ledger is maintained, updated, and accurate.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting FP&A with granular and financial statement inquiries.
  • Draft and send invoices to clients and/or draft bills received from vendors.
  • Consolidation & sending of documents (invoices/payment proof/bank statement).
  • Support the integration of systems, processes, and reporting structures.
  • Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Accountancy with US GAAP experience; CPA is a plus.
  • 2–3 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in external/internal audit or an accounting firm.
  • 2–3 years of Amazon Seller Central experience; knowledge of Sponsored Ads, DSP, Payee Central, and Vendor Central is an advantage; familiarity with Walmart, Target, ShipStation, TrueOps, and SPN is a bonus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and the broader Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suites.
  • Experienced with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
  • Able to reconcile external documentation with company records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Capable of making adjustments including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
  • Experienced in intercompany reconciliation.
  • Can read and comprehend financial statements — P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Able to dissect and understand legal agreements with clients or vendors.
