About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct the strategic design, management, and implementation of enterprise-wide business analytics programs
Drive customer solutions, service innovation, and profitability
Lead development and execution of complex analytical solutions to meet business requirements
Research, develop, and promote adoption of new and emerging analytics technologies
Identify technology-based business opportunities
Implement mechanisms ensuring information is accurate, meaningful, has integrity, manages risk, and meets senior leadership needs
Direct, motivate, develop, and manage the performance of the management team and key staff
Lead enterprise finance transformation through financial systems expertise, data governance, and process automation
Serve as primary liaison between Finance, Technology, Data Management, and business stakeholders
Design, implement, and optimize solutions improving data quality, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting
Lead financial system implementations, acquisitions and integrations, data conversion activities, regulatory reporting enhancements, and large-scale automation efforts
Identify root causes of data discrepancies, develop sustainable solutions, and ensure accurate data flows across enterprise platforms
Foster diverse and inclusive teams, drive change and innovation, deliver results, and develop employees

Requirements

What you’ll need

University / college degree typically required; posting lists Bachelors
Industry experience typically 8+ years
At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
Knowledge and skills in Analytical Thinking, Business Intelligence (BI), Concept Development, Data-Driven Decision Making, Data Integration, Market Research, Performance Metrics, Qualitative Research, and Strategic Planning
Competencies in Business Analytics, Business Case Justification, Effective Communications, Emerging Technologies, and Organizational Savvy and Politics
