About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform advanced quantitative analyses and model development to drive decision-making
- Run quantitative strategies and make recommendations based on analyses
- Analyze and develop new model frameworks in support of the line of business
- Refine, monitor, and review existing models
- Communicate ongoing with model owners and model developers during reviews
- Work with larger, more complex datasets to create models
- Perform quantitative analysis and develop complex reports
- Perform qualitative and quantitative assessments of models, including theoretical aspects, design, implementation, data quality, and integrity
- Analyze complex data and associated quantitative analysis
- Make recommendations based on data analytics findings
- Use quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and determine model strengths and limitations
- Prepare and analyze detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance using applicable templates
- Lead AML data quality and assurance efforts across key AML processes
- Provide effective challenge, identify opportunities to strengthen data controls, and assess the business impact of data issues
- Collaborate with investigators, business leaders, technology teams, and model owners
- Promote data integrity, transparency, and operational effectiveness
- Connect regulatory expectations, business processes, and data governance practices
- Influence stakeholders across the organization and help ensure critical decisions rely on reliable, well-governed data
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge of AML monitoring, investigations, and regulatory reporting data
