About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage relationships with new and existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue, and market share
  • Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet
  • Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non-credit products and services
  • Manage risk/return and drive quality for clients
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
  • Provide ideas and insights based on clients’ needs and financial well-being
  • Increase client engagement and loyalty
  • Build internal, community, and industry relationships to acquire and expand clients
  • Present PNC’s full range of products and services
  • Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
  • Provide cash flow solutions to businesses with annual sales from $2 million to $10 million
  • Develop and cultivate Center of Influence relationships to meet and exceed sales goals and business objectives
  • Work with internal service partners to onboard and expand the business portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may substitute for a degree
  • Knowledge of business banking and cash flow solutions
  • Financial analysis and credit fundamentals knowledge
  • Knowledge of internal credit policies
  • Client relationship management and relationship-building skills
  • Prospecting and selling skills
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities
  • Customer engagement and experience management
  • Business acumen and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Tech savvy
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
  • Subject to applicable FDIA, SAFE Act, and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
