About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development and review of test strategies and plans aligned with project goals, scope, tools, and testing approaches
- Guide more junior team members regarding testing needs
- Identify and address resource and environment gaps
- Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to appropriate Quality Engineer leadership
- Monitor and manage testing risks and defects according to ECO standards
- Accurately report testing risks and defects
- Prepare and deliver test summary reports and documentation for Technology leaders, Governance/Risk teams, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate across teams
- Participate in Quality Engineer CoP meetings to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required for roles at this level
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- Knowledge of analytical thinking, controls testing, corporate governance, quality assurance, quality support, software testing, test case development, and usability testing
- Competencies in accuracy and attention to detail, application testing, coaching others, influencing, process management, software development life cycle, software quality assurance and testing, technical documentation management, and technical troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree listed under Education
- No required certifications
- No required licenses
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
- Must satisfy applicable Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act requirements regarding certain criminal history
