About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and mature Internal Project Management and Change Governance as enterprise-wide disciplines
- Develop frameworks, standards, governance practices, and operating routines for planning, prioritizing, governing, and executing organizational change
- Create consistency, transparency, and accountability across Tempus' strategic and operational initiatives
- Partner with business leaders, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Centralize internal project prioritization and improve transparency into organizational initiatives
- Strengthen execution discipline and align change delivery with risk, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders
- Manage and lead program managers executing organizational programs in support of corporate strategy
- Manage and assess planning stages of organizational programs and develop strategies to achieve program goals
- Oversee and report on overall program budgets
- Monitor and evaluate program implementation and effectiveness and recommend enhancements
- Coach and develop program managers
- Maintain relationships with service partner leadership to ensure seamless delivery across multiple distribution channels
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required; Education listed as Bachelors
- 8+ years of industry experience typically required
- At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge of accountability, client counseling, decision making, results orientation, and strategic planning
