About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and mature Internal Project Management and Change Governance as enterprise-wide disciplines
Develop frameworks, standards, governance practices, and operating routines for planning, prioritizing, governing, and executing organizational change
Create consistency, transparency, and accountability across Tempus' strategic and operational initiatives
Partner with business leaders, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders
Centralize internal project prioritization and improve transparency into organizational initiatives
Strengthen execution discipline and align change delivery with risk, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders
Manage and lead program managers executing organizational programs in support of corporate strategy
Manage and assess planning stages of organizational programs and develop strategies to achieve program goals
Oversee and report on overall program budgets
Monitor and evaluate program implementation and effectiveness and recommend enhancements
Coach and develop program managers
Maintain relationships with service partner leadership to ensure seamless delivery across multiple distribution channels

Requirements

What you’ll need

University/college degree typically required; Education listed as Bachelors
8+ years of industry experience typically required
At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
