About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and direct a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals
- Oversee execution of strategy
- Lead and coordinate daily customer and prospect management activities
- Coach team members to attract new customers and grow existing relationships
- Develop and oversee account and sales plans
- Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients
- Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
- Build senior internal and external relationships to acquire clients and enhance client experience
- Bring the full range of PNC products and services to clients
- Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
- Develop team members and monitor progress against individual goals
- Recruit top talent and manage performance issues
- Plan, organize, direct, analyze, and evaluate staff and processes
- Coach team members on credit-risk analysis, evaluation, mitigation, and credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
- 8+ years of industry experience typically required
- At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- FINRA Series 7 license required
- FINRA Series 63 license required
- Knowledge of account management, client prospecting, competitive advantages, customer relationships, sales opportunities, negotiation, and results orientation
- Conflict management, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, sales management, and selling
- Must comply with applicable FDIA Section 19 and FINRA requirements regarding criminal history
