About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult on investment and insurance strategies and develop financial plans for clients
- Grow and retain an investment and insurance book of business
- Own the client experience, handling sales and service, identifying opportunities, and making referrals to internal business partners
- Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and client networking
- Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through an exceptional client experience
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems appropriately and efficiently
- Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies
- Determine the best products to support client strategies
- Present financial recommendations and guidance to clients
- Establish individual financial plans based on client needs and objectives
- Monitor financial plans and recommend changes as needed
- Coach and educate internal business partners to identify investment opportunities
- Drive investment education and visibility among internal business partners
- Communicate regularly with internal and external partners to build relationships and drive referral activity
- Meet with internal business partners to communicate and review business results and pipeline management
- Meet service level agreements on lead and referral follow-up
- Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines
- Manage customer-focused solutions and the risks associated with business objectives under PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- FINRA Series 7 and 66, or Series 7 and 63/65, required
- Life and Health Insurance required
- Knowledge of client prospecting and relationship building
- Credit risk analysis, financial analysis, and financial modeling
- Customer engagement and retention
- Investment banking knowledge
- Public speaking
- Coaching others and customer experience management
- Effective communications and interpersonal relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Prospecting, sales tasks and activities, and selling
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines
- Must satisfy Section 19 of the FDIA and applicable FINRA/SAFE Act requirements
