About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult on investment and insurance strategies and develop financial plans for clients
  • Grow and retain an investment and insurance book of business
  • Own the client experience, handling sales and service, identifying opportunities, and making referrals to internal business partners
  • Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and client networking
  • Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through an exceptional client experience
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems appropriately and efficiently
  • Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies
  • Determine appropriate products to support client strategies
  • Present financial recommendations and guidance to clients
  • Establish and monitor individual financial plans and recommend changes as needed
  • Coach and educate internal business partners to identify investment opportunities
  • Drive investment education and visibility among internal business partners
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to build relationships and drive referral activity
  • Meet with internal business partners to review business results and pipeline management
  • Meet service level agreements on lead and referral follow-up
  • Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may substitute for a degree
  • Knowledge and skills in client prospecting, client relationship building, credit risk analysis, customer engagement, financial analysis, financial modeling, investment banking, public speaking, relationship management, and selling
  • Competencies in coaching others, customer experience management, customer retention, effective communications, interpersonal relationships, managing multiple priorities, prospecting, sales tasks and activities, and selling
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) required
  • Life and Health Insurance license required
  • Must comply with applicable FDIA Section 19, SAFE Act, and/or FINRA requirements
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
