About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in PNC's 10-week summer internship program
  • Gain exposure to a specific line of business and complement education with real-world job experience
  • Support experienced bankers in engaging with PNC's client base
  • Support the core activities of the client team and line of business
  • Apply knowledge to drive business results, including deal, sales, process support, customer interaction, and internal projects
  • Support businesses across Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Healthcare, Specialty Industries, Public Finance, and Credit Products Group
  • Cover and support a specific region from a PNC hub location
  • Network with business representatives and peers
  • Participate in mentoring, job shadowing, community outreach, classroom learning, and a case study
  • Work under supervision with limited approval and/or exception authority

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working toward a bachelor's degree
  • Preferred business-relevant major, including Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, HR, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Actuarial Sciences
  • Sophomore or junior status
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role
