About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the operating plan and communicate strategic direction to the operations team
  • Manage one or more functions across one or more sites
  • Manage supervisors and/or individual contributors and achieve desired business results
  • Act as a point of escalation and resolve exceptions
  • Process and/or reconcile transactions of varying risk and financial value according to established policies and procedures
  • Partner internally to resolve escalations and provide guidance
  • Interact with external customers and/or third parties to complete transactions or resolve escalated issues
  • Provide coaching and development to team members
  • Lead staff meetings and translate strategic direction into tactical operating plans
  • Provide consultation and advice to service partners and customers
  • Identify, influence, and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Represent the operations group on projects
  • Develop and/or approve standard operating procedures
  • Recommend policy improvements
  • Review transactions and reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance
  • Manage and be accountable for risk mitigation and business resiliency activities
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 5+ years of related experience
  • At least 2 years of previous supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of accountability, customer solutions, compliance, process improvements, results orientation, risk mitigation strategies, and standard operating procedures
  • Competence in decision-making and critical thinking, effective communications, internal resource coordination, operational functions, problem solving, process management, and standard operating procedures
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • No required certification
  • No required license
  • Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
