About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support AOP (Account Opening Platforms) - Retail Digital Accounts for digital account opening and related banking capabilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters, QE Leads, and other technology partners
- Validate application changes and identify defects early in the development lifecycle
- Ensure releases meet quality standards, governance requirements, and customer expectations
- Participate in the quality assurance process and follow procedures for software products and components
- Perform code inspections, walk-throughs, design reviews, and test-readiness reviews
- Review software and project documentation for completeness and adherence to standards
- Work on problem resolutions and report progress to management
- Plan, execute, and summarize reliability and validation test cases
- Interface with developers on test results
- Assist in audits and reviews
- Write and execute software test plans and test cases
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge of analytical thinking, controls testing, corporate governance, quality assurance, quality support, software testing, test case development, and usability testing
- Competence in accuracy and attention to detail, analytical thinking, influencing, process management, products and services, software development life cycle, software quality assurance and testing, and technical documentation management
- Customer-focused approach
- Ability to assess and manage risks in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- No required certification
- No required license
- Must satisfy applicable Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act requirements and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
