About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of designers, fostering growth, engagement, and design excellence.
  • Set design vision and strategy across a suite of products, workflows, and platforms.
  • Drive the transformation of complex operational experiences through process design, systems thinking, and workflow architecture.
  • Partner with business, product, and technology leaders to align priorities and deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • Establish and scale experience patterns, standards, and design system adoption across teams.
  • Create alignment across initiatives to ensure connected, consistent, and efficient user experiences.
  • Leverage research, insights, and data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Communicate design direction and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure high-quality design execution across multiple teams, products, and initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading and developing teams of experience designers, product designers, or UX professionals
  • Experience designing complex enterprise, operations, workflow, or employee-facing platforms
  • Demonstrated success driving cross-functional initiatives across business, product, technology, and design organizations
  • Experience establishing or scaling design systems, experience standards, and governance models
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership of large-scale end-to-end experience initiatives
  • Experience working with the Figma suite of design tools
  • Experience supporting design initiatives within Agile development environments
  • Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry is desired but not required.
  • University / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
