About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Handle customer inquiries, including filing disputes and assisting with online banking questions
Present PNC products and services during service conversations to grow customer relationships
Educate customers on appropriate product and service options
Perform customer service and sales support activities and initiatives
Transition service conversations into sales opportunities to increase share of wallet
Handle inquiries and offer home secured lending products
Support a complex dedicated suite of products and services and/or leverage advanced processes or tools
Deliver the CARES model to customers and service partners
Receive, investigate, and respond to customer service and sales inquiries through all customer service channels
Refer applicable products and services and recommend appropriate solutions
Follow defined treatments and use active listening to present alternative solutions
Resolve customer service inquiries and issues, including complex or recurring issues
Identify root causes and maintain high customer satisfaction
Document customer interactions and complete service requests thoroughly to minimize customer effort
Work shifts between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, including a permanent or rotating weekend day
Work weekend hours of 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time when scheduled

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires 1+ years of related experience
Related product knowledge or experience required
Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
Ability to provide a dedicated, confidential workspace with a closable door
Cell phone, tablet, or smartwatch capable of downloading and running the PingID application
High-speed internet with a direct wired connection to a cable or fiber modem and router
Internet service capable of at least 20 Mbps download and upload speeds
Wired connection in the room with the modem and router; wireless internet is not permitted/supported
Subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations
PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
Home Lending Designated Lender Certification - PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. required for the role
